Rachel Barrett: A New Perspective

Rachel Barrett checks in with Lightwaves this month to share her experience of facing herself in the Yoga Development Course. This is a courageous act, the act of a warrior. The transformation that occurred, she now shares with teenagers as a Hatha teacher for the Radha Yoga Youth Outreach program in Ottawa. Her story is an exciting example of awareness that is gained and the creative solutions that arise when we dive into the unknown with penetrating questions and emerge anew. Her experience shines, one that she shares with her students giving them a fresh, new perspective.

The community of Crawford Bay has recently constructed a new Leeds Gold Standard public school which offers children an inspiring space to learn in. Think about it, stepping out of the fast pace of daily life, slowing down to listen to the wisdom that awaits within and knowing that your family can be there with you.
