“Compassion needs an open door of acceptance.” During our Week of Compassion, Yasodhara Ashram resident, Swami Radhakrishnananda gave a Satsang talk exploring the relationship between compassion and healing. In this video, she shares some inspiring insights from her own process of healing with Parkinson’s Disease: “When we’re working with healing as an idea in the mind, I think it’s to really keep the mind open and not to say it has to look a certain way, but to allow whatever needs to be healed to come forward.”
In Swami Radha’s book The Yoga of Healing she invites us to reflect on the following questions:
What do I need to learn from my physical condition? What is the energy that created me in the first place? Where does life come from?
