Swami RadhanandaAs the participants of the YDC¬†2009¬†begin their transition out of the course, Swami Radhananda reflects on what it means to be protected by Light. “Are you ever going to come to a place where you feel completely protected, or is it somewhere inside you that the protection lives?”

Swami Radhananda will be teaching the Polishing the Diamond intensive at Yasodhara Ashram, April 21-26.

  1. “You have to be involved to evolve.” -Sw. Radhananda.
What a fantastic line! Thank you for the reminder.

  2. As I come near the end of my placement as a VSO volunteer in Guyana and watch the video of Swami Radhananda speaking to those who have just completed the YDC I reflect on “you come here to the Ashram knowing what you want from the experience and if you do not get it then the fault lies with you beause all the tools are here”. I know that my experience here, which followed my own YDC in 2007, has been fulfilling because I brought the tools with me. Lightwaves is one more of those tools. Thankyou everyone involved for the opportunity to take sips of rejuvenating light beamed out from the Ashram over the internet. It is lovely to have been able to stay connected in this way, even though it makes me homesick occasionally for the actual instead of the virtual.

  3. I have had my first week of transition from the YDC and teacher training. Going from living in the ashram to living in Toronto involves adjustments. I am so thankful for Lightwaves, to keep me closely connected to Swami Radha’s teachings. I just returned from a walk to Lake Ontario with my dog, Georgia. I walked out to the end of the pier and did a Divine Light Invocation. On returning home, I have listened once again to Swami Radhananda’s wonderful satsang with the YDC 2009. As Satya said to me the YDC never ends! How true that is….
