Drawing Inward – Fall and Winter Offerings

coursehead.jpgEverything is drawing inward around us. The trees are pulling sap down into their roots, the Ashram garden is being put to bed, and we are storing our root crops and preserved fruits indoors for the winter.

Drawing inward is a natural tendency at this time of year and the Ashram offers a variety courses and retreats to honour that.

The Seven Days of Yoga (Nov 11 (eve.)—18) offers you a week break from your regular activities to discover the power of yoga to enrich your daily life. You’ll practice hatha yoga each day and be introduced to one of Swami Radha’s unique approaches to yoga including: Kundalini Yoga, mantra yoga, dream yoga, the Divine Light Invocation.

course4.jpgWe’re also offering three retreats in the next two months. Two Yoga Retreats offer an opportunity to rekindle and renew in a spacious but structured way. Your day will include:
A 1.5 hour hatha yoga class (before breakfast)
1 hour of karma yoga (selfless service)
A 2 hour workshop learning about one of our many practices.

The third retreat is our Yoga of Light Retreat
(Dec 23 (eve.) – Jan. 1) which offers an alternative to the hustle and bustle of Christmas. You can enjoy the peace of the season and honour the Light in a setting of tranquility and beauty. There will be yoga classes and lots of ways to participate together in the Ashram community

coursemain1.jpgIn the New Year beginning January 8th is our annual Yoga Development Course. An intensive three-month program offering you both experience of the major branches of yoga as well as an opportunity for self-development. Swami Radha’s approach is based on helping people find their own innermost authority, so the emphasis in all courses is on personal reflection.
