The Yoga of Light

January 14, 2009 by Lightwaves

In Satsang on Christmas, celebrating the 15th Anniversary of her leadership at Yasodhara Ashram, Swami Radhananda speaks of the cycles of creation and change, and the power of Light to keep things alive and moving. She asks us to engage – to look for the Light and let it become the creative force in us.

  1. Ah, words that I needed to hear. They give me encouragement for the new semester that starts in a few days, and remind me of what I learned from the YDC, 2000. I am 53 and very close to getting my BA in English. I know Sw. Radha’s teachings and the ashram helped me to find the confidence to use my mind. I am so very grateful to the Swamis, teachers and fellow students. Jaya Kali Ma!

  2. I write in response to these words of Light. Change! Be curious I say to the resting cat like soul I sometimes have. Be courageous like the cat that leaps up and down the tree of life.

  3. Thanks,

What a nice way to think of the Light as totally creative, creating, changing, and renewing all things! Yes, keeping all alive by engagement! Another insight around the light!
