Celebration of Light!

January 14, 2009 by Lightwaves

Tobogganing, talent night, sacred dance, backflips, music, community… we celebrate the yogic union of fun and the Light in this inspired and inspiring video of the Ashram’s holiday celebration – the Festival of Light. Hear participants share why they come to the Ashram during this special time.

For an optimal viewing experience, double click on the video screen to open it in YouTube, where you have the option to click “watch in high quality”.  Otherwise you may want to sit for a few minutes and repeat the light mantra as the video loads:

I am created by Divine Light

I am sustained by Divine Light

I am protected by Divine Light

I am surrounded by Divine Light

I am ever growing into Divine Light

  3. Wow, Many many blessings to all of you on the lightwaves team.

Fine job of editing down a few hours of footage into a bite sized film.

    Best, best, best,

    Time for the Highest.

Thanks so much for the reminder that “play” is important to integrate into our everyday lives.
I’ll remember that when I feel tension in my breath, being light and playful brings fresh prespective to the tight spots in my life.
    Blessed Be

  9. Beautiful. It so pulled my heart strings to see some of the “wonderful men” I know and love from the YDC … Gord and Andriko. Wish I was with you. Love to ALL the wonderful men who I was priviledged to spend time with on the YDC last year. And to ALL the wonderful women too!
