Watch a video of the Bhandara celebration that was held at the Ashram on Nov. 30 to honour Swami Radha’s life and work.  There was a warm feeling all around as Ashram residents and karma yogis came together with members of the local community to eat, sing, and celebrate.

Bhandara literally means storehouse; a Bhandara event is a symbolic offering of a storehouse of abundance to honour & celebrate the life of a guru who is no longer living.  On Nov. 30, to celebrate the anniversary of Swami Radha’s passing, The residents and karma yogis at the Ashram invited the community to come for dinner and satsang – we opened the storehouse and served all who came.

  1. Thank you so much to the Lightwaves Team.
When I feel far away from the ashram, this becomes a way of keeping the connection alive.
    Many blessings!

  4. I agree…there should be many Radha’s in the world. Thank you Swami Radha and all those that hold the teachings in the light. My inner Radha glows. Namaste.
